No matter what industry is being developed, refractory materials are necessary materials for the development of the raw material industry. Cement, glass, steel and other industries need refractory materials. Therefore, it is particularly important for the refractory industry to achieve circular economic development.

In the past 10 years, my country’s refractory material industry has made great progress, and the product quality and technical equipment level have been greatly improved. This has not only met the extraordinary growth needs of high-temperature industries such as steel and cement, but also met the new requirements of high-temperature industry technological progress for refractory materials. However, some problems have also been exposed in the development process, such as overcapacity and low industrial concentration. How to solve these problems is the key to the economic development of China's refractory industry.

At present, the production capacity of my country's refractory industry has changed from a structural surplus to a full-scale surplus. The disorderly competition, low-price auctions, and chaos in the market are difficult to reverse by industry self-discipline. Faced with the status quo of refractory materials, users of refractory materials should understand the current difficult state of the industry, respect and assist the refractory industry in formulating feasible refractory standards, and carefully revise those outdated standards to meet the current actual production conditions.

In view of this, entrusted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Refractory Materials Association recently held a National Refractory Industry Access Condition Research Seminar in Xinmi City, Henan Province, from China Refractory Materials Association, China Mold and Mold Association, Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and 50 companies Representatives of large refractory companies jointly discussed the formulation of industry access standards on refractory ore mining, refractory raw materials, and refractory products. At the meeting, the participating experts reached basic opinions on the 7 industrial standards of refractory companies, defining the comprehensive energy consumption per unit of 22 refractory raw materials, 29 refractory products, and 34 refractory raw materials and product quality technical standards.
